1. Cleaning: All necessary surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared. This step helps new paint to adhere to the existing surface and removes harmful occident's, pollutants and dirt.
2. Protecting: All areas in your business or home, including flooring, wallpaper and furnishings will be protected from start to finish by drop-clothes, plastic and paper/tape.
3. Preparation. Preparation will include the removal of switch plates, plug covers and window blinds. Water stains will be sealed to prevent it from bleeding through the new paint job. Sanding and primer will be applied to all bare wood and damaged areas.
4. Caulking. We will caulk around baseboards and trim as needed. We use 45 year guarantee caulking on all cracks.
5. Painting. Only the best quality paints and applicators will be used, to provide you with the quality that your home deserves. We only use high quality residential grade paints on homes. We use a Zero VOC paint, whenever possible. This means no harmful fumes in your home! Touch-up paint will be left at the end of each job so you will have some for later nicks and bumps.
6. Daily Cleaning. On any multi-day jobs, we make sure to pack-up and pick up at the end of each day. This way our impact on your daily life is minimal. This is done if possible.
7. Final Inspection. Before the crew packs up their equipment the final time, we do a final walk- around to ensure all contracted areas are painted properly and all supplies have been removed.
1. Washing. All of the areas that will be painted within the scope of your project will be thoroughly cleaned. If needed, we use a 10-1 bleach detergent solution and a conical injector on the pressure washer. This will remove any mildew, algae, dirt, mineral or salt deposits to make new paint to adhere to the existing surface.
2. Tarping. All of the surfaces to be worked around will be protected with canvas and plastic tarps. Additionally, tape will be used to protect any areas where tarps would be impractical.
3. Scraping. Failing paint must be removed. Any loose, flaking and/or peeling paint, not removed during the power-wash, will be thoroughly hand scraped or power sanded prior to painting. Cedar wood siding flaking will be wire brushed prior to re-staining.
4.Priming. Priming of bare wood and metal will be performed with appropriate primers to prevent peeling of the new paint.
5. Caulking. Any loose caulking around joints and seams will be removed and replaced, to prevent rain from penetrating below the surface. Loose nails will be re-set or screws applied to loose boards.
6. Painting. Only the best quality paints and applicators will be used, to provide you with the quality that your home deserves. We only use high quality residential grade paints on homes. Touch-up paint will be left at the end of each job so you will have some for later nicks and bumps.
